User Agreement

Introduction

"HeyCost" refers to the mobile bookkeeping software legally owned and operated by Hangzhou Catalyst Technology Co., Ltd. ("Catalyst" or "we"). HeyCost services and all related features are collectively referred to as "our products and/or services".

This HeyCost User Agreement (the "Agreement") is the contract between you and us regarding the download, installation, copying, and use of our products and/or services. Please read and fully understand this Agreement before using our products and/or services.

By accepting this Agreement, or completing any registration/login process, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all content of this Agreement and become a user of the App. If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, or do not fully understand it, please do not proceed with any related features. Otherwise, any use or action will be deemed acceptance of this Agreement.

Using HeyCost products and services means you agree to the following terms.

1. License to use
  1. The App is for personal, non-commercial use only. If you sell the App or any related materials, services, or software, you must obtain permission from Catalyst.
  2. We authorize you to access and use all features through normal App channels. Some features require a premium membership, available via monthly, yearly, or one-time purchase.
2. Intellectual property
  1. You acknowledge that Catalyst owns all rights to the App, including all intellectual property rights. "Intellectual property" includes rights under patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark, and unfair competition laws, and all applications, updates, extensions, and recoveries worldwide. You agree not to modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to obtain source code from the App. You also agree not to remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or ownership notices.

3. In-app purchases

Some features require a premium membership. You may subscribe or purchase a lifetime unlock.

  1. Membership subscription:

    1. We offer yearly and lifetime plans; pricing may change with promotions.
    2. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period via Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
    3. Fees for the current period are non-refundable.

  2. Lifetime purchase

    1. A one-time payment unlocks premium features permanently, with no further fees.

4. Data and privacy
  1. We explicitly state that we do not collect users' financial data. Analytics are based on local data processing only.

5. Limitation of liability
  1. We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by force majeure (such as server failure or network outages).
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

6. Termination of service
  1. If you violate any term of this Agreement, we may immediately terminate your access without prior notice.

7. Agreement changes
  1. We may modify this Agreement at any time. The updated Agreement becomes effective immediately after publication in the App. We recommend checking it regularly.

8. Governing law
  1. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall be submitted to the court in the provider's location.
